Bali Pink Ribbon
Welcome to the 2nd edition of Bali Pink Ribbon Newsletter for 2019!
We have many events and updates to share with you.
We recently came back from Bali Pink Ribbon’s breast cancer early detection road show in Narmada and Sekotong, West Lombok. The event served more than 300 women in remote villages, in cooperation with the regional government of Lombok and health department, supported by our medical Partner, Prima Medika Hospital.
In August this year we plan to extend the free breast screening and breast cancer educational roadshow to the island of Sumba and we are looking at Flores and Nusa Penida for the year 2020.
Along with our now extensive breast cancer awareness campaign, Bali Pink Ribbon is finding that breast cancer patient support has become one of our major activities, which is much appreciated by the Balinese community. We also find that medical students look to our Foundation to join their activities.
